Fighter biography

Born on the island of Maui and raised in the town of Lahaina. From a young age Kainoa has showed a natural curiosity and love for learning. He would find himself at the Carlson Gracie dojo in Lahaina watching his dad train jiu jitsu. He always enjoyed being on the mats. As he grew up, he became very interested in learning the sport. He was fascinated by the techniques and strategies used in this discipline and started training at the age of 4. Since, he has a dedication to mastering the art. Kainoa works hard to purse his passion for jiu jitsu and has achieved many great things in the sport. He has also found that the discipline and focus required for jiu jitsu has helped him in other areas of his life, such as academics and person relationships. Kainoa trains under Professor Christian Grandi at Carlson Gracie Jiu Jitsu Lahaina. He is also fortunate enough to have personal training and coaching by his dad. He is excited to see what his future hold and is always looking for new challenges to on. Kainoa is a kind, compassionate, loving, and hardworking individual who is loved by all who know him. He has a bright future a head of him and is sure to make a positive impact on the world, both on and off the jiu jitsu mat.
