Event details

  • Schedule: PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY, THE DOORS WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL 11:00AM.
    • ALL DIVISIONS WILL TAKE PLACE ON Saturday, July 9, 2022.
        • Weigh-ins: 11am-12:00pm
        • Rules Meeting: 12:00pm
        • Matches Start: 12:30pm
    • ESTIMATED END TIME 3:00 PM
    LIVESTREAM: Matches will be Livestreamed on www.TheDojo.com
    recorded and uploaded onto www.thedojo.com/wsojj a few days afterward. 

    Guest/Coaches: Tickets will be available for purchase at the door for $20: Children 5 and under are free. As we don't charge yearly membership fees like other organizations, and we give the majority of registration fees back to the competitors, all coaches spectators will be asked to pay at the door. 
  • DIVISIONS (All matches will be NO-GI):
    • White Belt:
      • $300 per division winner take all
      • Weight classes 155LB, 185LB, 235LB (lower weights/belts are welcome to compete in heavier divisions)
    • Blue Belt: 
      • $400 per division winner take all
      • Weight classes 155LB, 185LB, 235LB (lower weights are welcome to compete in heavier divisions)
    • Purple Belt: 
      • $500 per division winner take all
      • Weight classes 155LB, 185LB, 235LB (lower weights are welcome to compete in heavier divisions)
    • Brown/Black: 
      • $1,000 per division winner take all
      • Weight Classes 185LB MAX (lower weights are welcome to compete in heavier divisions)
  • BRACKETS: Will be released on THursday July 7, 2022. Don't bother asking about brackets until then. 
  • SCHEDULE: Will be announced when registration closes
  • WEIGHINGS: Will be on the morning of the tournament. Competitors will be given a 0.9LB allowance.
  • REGISTRATION FEE: 
    • First 10 Competitors: $99
    • Normal Registration: $129
    • Late Registration: $139

WAIVER, RELEASE, and ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT

I hereby assume all of the risks of participating in, and watching, any and all activities associated with this Event, and I hereby release and discharge the Released Parties listed below from, and waive any claims relating to, any and all liability for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or other harm of any kind which may occur to me or my property in connection with this Event. I acknowledge and agree that I am releasing the Released Parties from, among other things, liability to me that may arise from the negligence or carelessness of the Released Parties, from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by them, or because of their possible liability without fault. Further, this release and waiver applies to risks and dangers attributable to the Released Parties’ negligence that may not be inherent in the activities relating to this Event. The Released Parties include the following: (a) World Series of Jiu-Jitsu and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents; (b) the sponsors of this Event and their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents; and (c) participants, officials, spectators, and other people present at the Event. I realize that serious injury is common in martial arts competitions such as the one I am entering and that I could die as a result of injuries I might sustain at the Event. I also realize that if I am injured, I might be disfigured, disabled and/or rendered unable to work again. By entering into this Event I assume the risk for any and all injuries that I may incur in connection with the Event, regardless of whether such risks are inherent in the activities that are expected to occur at the Event, and I expressly give up and waive any and all claims that I or anyone acting on my behalf or through me might have against the Released Parties for any injury regardless of its nature or effect on me as a result of my participation and/or presence at the Event. I hereby consent to receive first aid and any other medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event that I appear to require such treatment during the Event.

refund policy
Registration fees are fully refundable up to 30 calendar days before an event. There are no refunds within 30 calendar days of an event. Please email admin@worldseriesofmartialarts.com if you are in need of a refund at least 30 days before an event.

If you do not have an opponent in your desired division, and you do not agree to move up a division, You have the option of a credit for a future event.
